EMS Direct by DocGo is seeking experienced Paramedics to join our dynamic team in Fort Worth, Texas. Our mission is to provide top-tier medical transport and care to patients in need, utilizing the latest technology and resources.
About the role
DocGo is disrupting the traditional healthcare system with innovative mobile health services and ambulance services. Our paramedics play a crucial role in ensuring patient safety and comfort during transport.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with fellow paramedics, EMTs, and management to ensure top-tier patient care.
- Work flexible schedules due to the 24-hour operation of emergency services.
- Stay updated with current standards of care, including equipment functions and certifications.
- Provide courteous, helpful, and professional service to patients, co-workers, supervisors, and the public.
- Treat medical conditions appropriately using the right techniques, equipment, and knowledge of state and county protocols.
- Assume responsibilities for patient care and follow established policies and procedures.
- Maintain rig cleanliness by stocking the rigs and taking ownership of your space.
- Gather patient billing information and obtain necessary signatures.
- Prepare and submit pre-hospital patient care reports.
- Respond promptly to assignments from the dispatch center.
- Lift, push, and pull up to 125 lbs as needed.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Texas Paramedic License
- Critical Care certification
- BLS, ACLS, PALS with American Heart Association
- Valid Driver's License (2+ years of driving history) and acceptable driving record
- FEMA ICS 100, 200, 700, and 800 certifications
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Tech-savvy or comfortable with technology
- Able to work effectively on a team
- Respectful of colleagues, patients, and supervisors
- Successfully complete Physical Aptitude Test
