About the Role
Lead and oversee nursing staff in ICU and PCU units, ensuring quality patient care and staff development.
Responsibilities
- Provide orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to nursing staff.
- Assist with competency verification, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
- Assess and ensure quality of services, support quality initiatives, and ensure policy compliance.
- Serve as a resource for staff, departments, and external contacts.
- Handle issue resolution and participate in policy development.
Key Duties
- Lead patient care initiatives.
- Promote staff development.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare standards.
Requirements
- Current RN license and a bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school.
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS.
- Previous nursing experience in critical care settings.
