Critical Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
About the role
As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Critical Care Medicine, you will work in the ICU at Intermountain Medical Center as an equal member of a multi-disciplinary team supporting advanced therapies for complex critically ill patients, including acute medical, respiratory, and cardiovascular patients. Intermountain Medical Center is the premier academic medical center and flagship quaternary hospital for Intermountain Health. This state-of-the-art facility currently has 96 ICU beds and 4 specialized ICUs, and is in the process of expanding. Intermountain Medical Center is ranked #1 in the United States for MI survival treatment and is a Three Star STS Cardiac Surgery Hospital.
Schedule
- Twelve 12-hour shifts in a 4-week period; including a mix of shifts nights (3–5 per 4 weeks), weekends, and holidays
- No call expectation
- Relocation assistance if relocating 50+ miles
What You'll Bring
- APRN or PA-C degree from an accredited program
- Board certification or eligibility
- Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one
- Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process

Pay
$57.33 – $88.47 per hour (actual rate dependent upon experience)
