About the role

Location: Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Facility: Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital. This position is located in a Health Professional Shortage Area (HPSA) and/or Medically Underserved Area/Population (MUA/P).

Responsibilities

• Join an established team of physicians and advanced practice providers (APPs)
• Work in an inpatient practice setting
• Provide care as an employed position within a nonprofit health system

Requirements

• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Medical Examiners, obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree required

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care
• Eligible for state medical license and DEA registration
