About the role

The Critical Care Education Specialist at Regions Hospital EMS is responsible for coordinating and instructing critical care and advanced level education classes. Responsibilities include preparing and delivering educational materials, managing equipment, and mentoring students.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the scheduling, preparation, and delivery of critical care and advanced level education classes.
  • Prepare and replace necessary equipment for classes.
  • Instruct students in both didactic and practical settings according to course guidelines.
  • Mentor and manage students and assistant instructors professionally.
  • Take an active role in education quality assurance and course improvement activities.

Requirements

  • Associates degree in any field.
  • Work experience in a hospital or prehospital critical care setting.
  • Current Minnesota nurse licensure OR - NREMT and Minnesota Paramedic licensure.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Skills

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and techniques.
