Critical Care - Advanced Practitioner - Sioux City, IA

Responsibilities
- Provide overnight ICU coverage on a 7-on/7-off schedule with 12-hour shifts (7 p.m. to 7 a.m.)
- Full-time position: 152 shifts per year
- Primary work location: Downtown Campus, with coverage at North Campus as needed
- Average 7-8 patients per 12-hour midnight shift
- Evaluates, interprets, and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care
- Collaborates in a patient-focused, team-oriented environment
- Demonstrates excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical, and problem-solving skills
Requirements
- Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, Board Certified
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a critical care provider
- ATLS & ACLS certification required
- Unrestricted medical license in the state of Iowa
- Current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications
- Eligible to work in the United States
