Responsibilities
- Manage critical care patients along with your ICU and hospitalist colleagues
- Work with your teammates to help establish optimal workflows to fit your skill level and patient needs
- Respond to acute medical events such as rapid responses and codes
- Perform ICU admissions and critical care consults
- Work closely with your ICU and Hospitalist Teammates
- Schedule Per Diem 7am-7pm (2 or more shifts a month)
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited PA Program or NP Program with critical care focus
- North Carolina licensed and BLS/ACLS certified
Qualifications
- Demonstrated clinical competency
- Effective leadership skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication and strong analytical skills
- Effective interaction to ensure the successful care of patients in the clinical setting
- Documentation in the medical record to substantiate accurate billing
Pay
Pay offers are determined by experience and internal equity
