Crisis Services RN-Contract (4335)

This is a Contract/PRN position that provides services on an as-needed basis. Hours are not guaranteed and will fluctuate based on program needs. This position is not a regular full-time or part-time role.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric assessments
• Assess physical health needs and make appropriate referrals to community physicians
• Provide management and administration of medication in conjunction with the psychiatrist
• Deliver a range of treatment, rehabilitation, and support services
• Share shift-management responsibility with other staff
• Provide direct case management services to individuals
• Conduct medication education
• Perform necessary documentation
• Provide all aspects of medication services to individuals

Requirements

• Successful completion of educational requirements for a Registered Nurse with a valid RN license to practice in Virginia
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
• Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and central registry (CANIS) report will be required upon request

Pay

Hourly rate range: $33.51 – $58.17
