Summary: Hourly Rate: $18 Hourly

  • Provide crisis stabilization services to adults who are in a psychiatric crisis.

About the Role

This position is located in Saco/Biddeford area and works on Sweetser's Crisis Stabilization Unit. The opportunity to advance up the career ladder to Crisis Residential Counselor II after 6 months in the role and after obtaining the required training and certifications is available. Successful completion of requirements comes with a $1 increase!

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WOULD:

Position Requirements

  • Valid state driver's license.
  • Persons with lived experience in the Mental Health and/or Substance Abuse system are encouraged to apply.
  • Must be able to speak, read and write English fluently.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma and experience working in the mental/behavioral health field.
  • One (1) year of experience providing direct care and/or crisis intervention to adults in a related field.
  • MHRT I state certification or eligibility for and completion of certification within 60 days of employment.
