About the role
The Crisis Mobile Specialist responds to crisis calls dispatched by Solari to the City of Mesa Police Department. The role involves quickly triaging crisis situations, recommending appropriate interventions, and assisting in transitioning individuals to the most suitable level of care, as defined by the Department of Behavioral Health Services (DBHS), Regional Behavioral Health Authority (RBHA), Office of Behavioral Health Licensure (OBHL), and the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR).
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- Associates Degree (preferred)
- Healthcare-related experience with exposure to behavioral and medical crisis situations (preferred)
- Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) certification in accordance with A.A.C. R9-10-101.33 and CBI Clinical Policies and Procedures
- Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification (valid in Arizona, required)
- Current Arizona Driver’s License (valid and in good standing)
- Clear 39-month Motor Vehicle Record
- Fingerprint Clearance Card
