Crisis Mobile Specialist

About the role

The Crisis Mobile Specialist responds to crisis calls from various sources such as first responders, jails, hospitals, other providers, and the community. The primary goal is to quickly assess a crisis situation, recommend appropriate interventions, and assist in transitioning the individual to the most suitable level of care.

Responsibilities

• Respond to crisis calls from first responders, jails, hospitals, other providers, and the community.
• Quickly triage crisis situations and recommend appropriate interventions.
• Aid in transitioning individuals in crisis to the most appropriate level of care.
• Ensure compliance with policies, processes, and governing rules set by DBHS, RBHA, OBHL, and CFR.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree or higher preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in the behavioral health field required.
• Minimum of six months of recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders preferred.
• Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) certification in accordance with A.A.C. R9-10-101.33 and CBI Clinical Policies and Procedures.
• Current AZ Driver’s License (valid and in good standing).
• Clear 39-month Motor Vehicle Record Fingerprint Clearance Card required.

Schedule

'On call' positions requiring response to crisis situations 24 hours a day.

Qualifications
