Crisis Interventionist Senior - Opioid Response

Job Description

The City of Chandler Fire Department is seeking a Crisis Interventionist Senior to join their team. The position works Wednesday – Saturday 8AM – 6PM.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or other related field
• 2 years of experience in social work, counseling, or crisis intervention
• A valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record
• Versed in a variety of evidence-based substance use treatment models, patterns of substance use, withdrawal symptoms, and knowledge of treatment options

Experience

• Experience as a Crisis Interventionist
• Experience working with diverse populations
• Understanding of harm reduction, medicated assisted treatment, and abstinence-based treatment modalities

Education

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field
• At least 2 years of experience in social work, counseling, or crisis intervention
