About the role
Cascade Community Healthcare is a 50-year-old organization serving Lewis County and surrounding areas. We aim to provide compassionate counseling to help clients achieve a renewed sense of hope and improve their quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Implement an individualized plan for mental health services, crisis intervention, stabilization, and resolution for individuals experiencing acute mental health distress.
- Provide face-to-face and phone crisis intervention, stabilization, and resolution services for individuals or families experiencing acute emotional distress or loss of behavioral control.
- Assist in facilitating voluntary hospitalization for clinically appropriate individuals and coordinate with DCR for involuntary placements as a collateral provider.
- Communicate follow-up actions needed with on-coming crisis team.
- Maintain knowledge of Lewis County community resources to refer individuals and families to appropriate resources.
- Provide consultation, education, and liaison services with law enforcement, schools, health personnel, and other relevant agencies.
Requirements
- A minimum of one year of education or experience in mental health or a related field.
- Washington State Department of Health Credential required (Registered-AAC or Certified AAC).
- Pass WA State Patrol background check.
- Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
- Current home telephone and address on file with the human resources office.
- Able to gain access to all types of buildings and residences regardless of their accessibility.
Qualifications
- Must be able to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
- Must comply with agency policies and procedures.
- Must be able to enter information into a computer network system.
- Must be able to operate a motor vehicle, including during inclement weather.
Skills
