About the Role

As a Crisis Specialist, you will conduct crisis intervention and stabilization services in a sub-acute residential treatment setting. Responsibilities include assessments, treatment planning, aftercare planning, case management, and providing individual and group therapy.

Responsibilities

  • Possess knowledge of all laws, regulations, contractual requirements, and agency policies and procedures governing the services performed.
  • Provide training to staff as identified by the Clinical Coordinator or Director.
  • Complete Biopsychosocial Assessments on new clients.
  • Act as the clinical lead of the program during your designated shift.
  • Follow agency policies and procedures to carry out the care and treatment of clients.
  • Implement clinical crisis service goals consistent with overall agency goals and policy/procedures.
  • Report to direct supervisor and other administrative staff as required, in a timely and comprehensive manner.
  • Maintain personal compliance with all required training requirements and personnel documentation standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in social sciences with at least 1 year of relevant professional experience OR Master's degree in social sciences with at least 1 year of relevant professional experience.
  • Experience in a behavioral health setting, including crisis assessment, triage, intervention, and knowledge of community resources/systems.
  • Licensure and/or certification preferred.
  • Clearances: Pennsylvania Child Abuse, Criminal, and fingerprint-based federal criminal history; verification that employee is not on any Medicaid/Medicare Exclusion list.

Note: At the discretion of the Personnel Officer, additional related experience and/or education may be substituted for the specified requirements.

Schedule

  • Sunday through Thursday, 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm OR
  • Monday through Friday, 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm
