About the role
The Crisis Clinician provides direct patient care, primarily in an Emergency Department setting, and may also serve via telehealth.
Responsibilities
- Conduct crisis assessments
- Facilitate de-escalation
- Develop safety plans
- Complete psychosocial evaluations
- Coordinate discharge planning
- Participate in ongoing education and training
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in social work (required)
- Master of Science in Social Administration (preferred)
- State license as a Social Worker, LPC (for Ohio and Kentucky), or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience in healthcare or human services
- Knowledge of community resources and family support services
