Simms Showers LLP is an AV rated, growing 15-attorney law firm with offices in Leesburg, VA, Winchester, VA and Baltimore, MD. We serve a wide variety of clients including numerous Christian ministries, churches, businesses, and individuals throughout the Mid-Atlantic region and nationwide. Our firm’s mission to integrate our faith into the practice of law and serve our clients with excellence.Responsibilities
- Being the first point of contact for clients
- Providing legal and administrative support to our criminal and traffic law attorneys with 60+ active cases a week
Requirements
- The ideal candidate is a logical and organized individual who is a skilled multitasker
- Excellently organized and able to keep track of multiple different cases at once, as well as keep track of payments from clients
- Excellent writing and editing skills are required
Skills
- Administrative office experience
- Experience with Microsoft office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work collaboratively in a team environment
Qualifications
- Spanish proficiency or fluency (preferred but not necessary)
- 1+ years of experience as a Criminal Legal Assistant (preferred but not necessary)
Pay and Schedule
- Pay is negotiable and based on qualifications and experience
- The pay range for this position is $24 - $30 per hour
- This position is a full-time position, over time eligible, and with medical and retirement benefits offered.
