About the role
The Criminal Justice Law Enforcement Operations Instructor - Adjunct (On-Site) position at Keiser University is responsible for teaching law enforcement operations courses to students enrolled in the Criminal Justice program.
Responsibilities
- Teach law enforcement operations courses to students enrolled in the Criminal Justice program.
- Develop and maintain course materials and syllabi.
- Assess student performance through exams, assignments, and class participation.
- Maintain accurate records of student grades and attendance.
- Participate in departmental meetings and professional development activities.
- Collaborate with other instructors and administrative staff to ensure the smooth operation of the Criminal Justice program.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, or a related field.
- At least three years of relevant work experience in law enforcement or criminal justice.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle for travel to and from classes.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Pass a background check and drug screening.
Skills
- Knowledge of current trends and issues in law enforcement.
- Ability to teach effectively and engage students in active learning.
- Experience with adult learners and adult education techniques.

Pay
