Criminal Defense & Family Law Consulting Attorney

Position Overview

Price Benowitz LLP is seeking a full-time Consulting Attorney to join our Intake & Client Consulting Team. This attorney will serve as the first point of contact for prospective clients seeking Criminal Defense and Family Law representation, providing legal consultations, evaluating potential matters, and connecting clients with the attorney best suited to handle their case.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland Bar license in good standing
• Prior Criminal Defense experience required
• Familiarity with Family Law strongly preferred
• Experience conducting legal consultations or working in a law firm intake environment is highly desirable
• Outstanding verbal communication and active listening skills
• Able to communicate with empathy, professionalism, and confidence
• Strong organizational and computer skills, including experience with CRM and case management software
• Sales, client intake, or customer service experience is a significant plus

Compensation & Work Arrangement

Salary: $65,000–$80,000 annually, based on experience.
Additional Compensation: Competitive commission structure.
Location: Fully Remote (U.S.-based applicants only).
Preferred Schedule: Saturday–Wednesday, with Thursdays and Fridays off. Ideal daily hours are 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with flexibility for a 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM schedule if needed.
