Responsibilities

• Defend clients facing DUIs, drug offenses, violent crimes, white-collar charges, and more, with the same intensity regardless of the case’s complexity.
• Build winning defense strategies by conducting thorough legal research, gathering evidence, and crafting individualized defense plans.
• Represent clients in court at first appearances, bond hearings, pre-trial hearings, plea hearings, trials, and sentencing hearings.
• Negotiate with prosecutors to pursue favorable plea agreements and case dismissals whenever possible.
• Guide clients through consultations, explain legal rights, and provide advice to help them make informed decisions.
• Collaborate with fellow attorneys, investigators, and expert witnesses to strengthen each case.

Compensation

The firm offers a competitive base salary combined with an attorney-friendly incentive plan:

• No administrative fees—100% of earned incentives are yours.

Requirements

• Active South Carolina Bar license in good standing.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in criminal law.
• Strong courtroom and negotiation skills, with the ability to litigate cases and challenge evidence.
• Client-centric mindset with a commitment to consistent, dedicated client interaction.
• Willingness to travel and perform impactful work in courtrooms.
• Growth-oriented, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy (proficient in Microsoft Office and legal research tools).
