About the role

The CA III independently leads analytical studies, evaluates program effectiveness, ensures compliance with applicable statutes and regulations, coordinates interagency database integration, and develops policy recommendations impacting Department of Justice leadership, Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST), Tribal governments, and partner law enforcement agencies. The incumbent exercises a high degree of initiative, originality, and independent judgment in interpreting legislation, auditing compliance, and designing innovative analytical models that support Tribal public safety operations statewide.

Responsibilities

  • Lead analytical studies and evaluate program effectiveness
  • Ensure compliance with applicable statutes and regulations
  • Coordinate interagency database integration
  • Develop policy recommendations for Department of Justice leadership, POST, Tribal governments, and partner law enforcement agencies
  • Interpret legislation and audit compliance
  • Design innovative analytical models supporting Tribal public safety operations statewide

Pay

$6,256.00 - $8,090.00 per month. New to State candidates will be hired into the minimum salary of the classification or minimum of alternate range when applicable.

Schedule

  • 12 Month Limited Term - Full Time
  • Day shift
  • Monday - Friday
  • Hybrid telework
