Crew Member - Tree Care CDL Driver

About the Role

Join SavATree’s General Tree Care Team, the muscle of our operation. These industrial athletes work together to provide high-quality tree care, maintaining and preserving the overall health of clients’ landscapes. As a Groundsperson/CDL Driver, you’ll work outside, visit beautiful properties in the community, and apply expertise in climbing, pruning, and safety while safely transporting equipment.

This position reports daily to the office in Charleston, SC.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a General Tree Care crew to deliver high-quality tree care services.
• Perform pruning, removals, cable bracing, and other tree care tasks.
• Safely operate all equipment and perform assigned job tasks while providing excellent client service.

Requirements

• Experience with proper pruning practices, including large shade trees and ornamentals.
• Ability to identify native and introduced tree and shrub species, with working knowledge of their characteristics.
• Experience with tree care safety standards and practical knowledge of chainsaw and equipment operation.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s license; CDL required.
• Experience with aerial lifts (bucket truck).
• Must be authorized to work lawfully in the U.S.

Pay

Up to $30 per hour, based on experience.
