Responsibilities

• Provide direction for safe and accurate receiving and packaging activities within the Regional Distribution Center.
• Schedule workload assignments and redirect personnel in receiving and packaging areas based on daily priorities.
• Train department personnel and provide assertive, timely communication regarding safety, teamwork, and quality.
• Coach, mentor, and develop team members to meet personal and company objectives.
• Communicate with Purchasing and Inventory Control Administrator regarding receiving, inventory, or packaging discrepancies.
• Conduct inventory cycle counting using powered industrial equipment.
• Absorb and investigate inventory discrepancies.
• Verify accuracy of receipt and packaging of products with Quality Control Department.
• Maintain records including maintenance logs on equipment, labor records, inventory transactions, personnel time records, and other records as required by the Supervisor.

Requirements

• A High School diploma/GED equivalent.
• Two (2) years of general knowledge of distribution/manufacturing operations.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Able to spend most of the time standing and walking in a warehouse environment.
