Responsibilities

  • Professionally represent U.S. Lawns at all times.
  • Respond to client needs and follow up to ensure satisfaction.
  • Maintain a positive, responsive, and flexible attitude with all clients.
  • Inspect sites and advise clients of potential liabilities.
  • Assign tasks to crew members and ensure work is completed properly.
  • Train crew members to perform jobs effectively.
  • Communicate training in English and/or Spanish.
  • Evaluate crew performance.
  • Maintain and promote safe working conditions in the field.
  • Follow company procedures on discipline if safety rules are broken.
  • Conduct and document weekly safety tailgate meetings with the crew.
  • Accountable for neglect and abuse of assigned equipment.
  • Maintain all jobs to bid specifications.
  • Maintain client satisfaction.
  • Maintain a prioritized punch list to aid in scheduling.
  • Monitor all irrigation controllers.
  • Read and write proficiently.
  • Possess a valid State driver’s license appropriate for assigned vehicles; driving record must meet company and State requirements.

Physical Demands

  • Frequently stand, walk, and sit.
  • Occasionally use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, or crouch.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
