Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality food by performing essential production tasks
• Support the management team by understanding the full operations of the line
• Support training and development of production employees
• Work with hand tools, knives, machinery, and other equipment to process meat products
• Ensure a positive work environment and maintain a safe and efficient production line
• Ensure products reach families across America
• Contribute to the mission of delivering good food, responsibly

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Willing and able to understand and follow oral and written instructions
• Continuous/repetitive movement including grasping, pinching hands, flexing, and extending arms
• Standing on concrete and/or platforms for up to a 12-hour shift
• Working around animal blood and/or carcass parts
• Using a knife (if trained)
• Working in cold and/or warm areas
• Working in a wet and humid environment
• Wearing a hard hat, hearing/eye protection, and steel-toed safety shoes
• Working in a noisy environment using personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Working with sanitation/cleaning chemicals
• Working around strong smells/odors
• Climbing/moving on ladders, steps, stairways, walkways, and platforms
• Bending, stooping, and twisting repetitively over the course of an entire shift
• Walking long distances
• May require certification to operate various pieces of equipment required for the position
