Crew Leader

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the work activities of the crew.
• Assign tasks and provide guidance and support to crew members.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Train new crew members and provide ongoing training to improve skills and performance.
• Monitor and report progress and issues to management.
• Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth project execution.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify any hazards or safety concerns.
• Foster a positive and productive work environment.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise during the work process.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably in a similar industry.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to effectively manage and motivate a team.
• Proficient in organizing and prioritizing tasks.
• Able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Valid driver's license.

Working Conditions

• Work requires the ability to lift up to 100 lbs. on occasion, and frequently transport plant material around the job site up to 50 lbs.
• Physical requirements include lifting, bending, walking, carrying, and pushing (i.e., lawnmower or backpack blower).
• This position works outdoors in various weather conditions.
• The noise level at the job site may be loud when operating certain equipment, such as a lawnmower or backpack blower.
• Responsibilities may require evening and weekend work in response to client needs and deadlines.
