Job Title: Travel Crew Leader (PVC Membrane Installation) Location: Nationwide Travel Position Type: Full-Time, Year-Round Role Overview The Travel Crew Leader is a working field leadership position responsible for overseeing and performing PVC membrane liner installations on commercial pool renovation projects throughout the United States. The Crew Leader is responsible for the day-to-day execution of assigned projects, including supervising and developing crew members, coordinating daily work activities, maintaining safety and quality standards, and ensuring projects are completed efficiently and in accordance with company and customer expectations. This position serves as the field leader on the jobsite and acts as the primary liaison between field crews and Project Management. Travel Requirements100% nationwide travel required.Extended travel based on project schedules and business needs.All company-required travel expenses are paid, including:Private hotel accommodationsDaily per diem for mealsPaid travel days, when applicable.Essential Duties and Responsibilities Field Leadership & SupervisionLead and work alongside a team of installers during all phases of PVC membrane installation.Direct daily jobsite activities and assign work to crew members.Train, mentor, and develop new and existing installers.Promote accountability and maintain high performance expectations for crew members.Conduct daily jobsite planning and coordinate work activities to maximize productivity.Address and resolve field issues and changing project conditions in real time.Maintain professional relationships with customers, facility personnel, and project stakeholders.Project ExecutionReview project drawings, specifications, and installation requirements.Perform field measurements, layouts, and material verification.Ensure installations are completed according to company standards and project specifications.Coordinate materials, equipment, and jobsite readiness.Monitor labor productivity and maintain project schedules.Communicate daily project progress, challenges, and needs to the Project Manager.Assist in project closeout activities and punch list completion.Safety & QualityMaintain and enforce company safety policies and jobsite safety requirements.Conduct and participate in daily safety discussions and hazard assessments.Ensure all crew members utilize proper PPE and safe work practices.Inspect work throughout the installation process to ensure quality standards are met.Identify and correct workmanship deficiencies promptly.Administrative ResponsibilitiesComplete and maintain project documentation, including:Daily reportsTime recordsEquipment logsMaterial trackingSafety documentationMaintain accountability for company tools, equipment, and vehicles.Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and customer requirements.Required QualificationsMinimum of 5 years of construction experience, including PVC membrane installation or a closely related trade.Minimum of 2 years of experience leading field crews.Demonstrated knowledge of commercial construction pracyices and jobsite management.Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documents.Experience performing field measurements and project layout.Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills.Proven ability to train, mentor, and develop employees.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Proficiency in using construction tools, equipment, and power tools.Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.Ability and willingness to travel extensively throughout the United States.OSHA 30 certification required or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.Preferred QualificationsCommercial pool construction or renovation experience.Experience leading nationwide traveling crews.Forklift or equipment operation experience.First Aid/CPR certification.Experience coordinating logistics, scheduling, and project planning.Physical Requirements This is a physically demanding construction leadership position. Employees must be able to:Lift and carry 50 pounds or more regularly.Stand, walk, kneel, bend, crouch, and climb for extended periods.Work from ladders, scaffolding, and elevated surfaces.Work in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions.Work in confined spaces and around water, chemicals, and construction equipment.Perform hands-on installation work while supervising and directing crew activities.Work Environment This position works primarily on active construction jobsites throughout the United States and requires extensive travel, overnight stays, and flexible work schedules based on project demands.
