About the role
The Crew Chief at Strata Clean Energy is responsible for performing tasks involving As-Built of stockpiles and volume of basins, as well as performing staking routines using alignment files like DXF and XML.
Responsibilities
- Possess a clear understanding of Surface files and their application to the work area.
- Apply Safety First practices and wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while on site.
- Be physically capable of carrying equipment and work outdoors.
- Have a desire to continuously learn advancements in the industry.
- Train team members to promote efficient production within projected timelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience utilizing GPS surveying systems.
- Proficiency in all areas of surveying.
- Knowledgeable about current survey equipment used on sites.
- Possess working knowledge of drawings, sketches, and prints, including underground duct banks, trenching, manholes, and ability to utilize, demonstrate, and supervise proper usage of equipment by employees in the power industry.
- Current valid driver’s license required.
Qualifications
- Must be able to sit, stand, bend, twist, and lift up to 50 pounds.
