Location: Wauwatosa, WI (100% on-site), Contract position
Requirements
- Creo Tool Knowledge (Surfacing, GD&T, DFX, DFA, C experience)
- Experience with plastic, sheet metal, and casting components
Responsibilities
- Work independently on design conceptual jobs
- Use Creo for part, assembly, and surfacing to generate concept models
- Design sheet metal and plastic parts
Qualifications
- Knowledge of design and development processes for automotive components, including drafting, dimensioning, tolerancing, prototyping, ECN, PPAP, and documenting results
- Experience with automotive product design, sheet metal press tools, fixture and gauge design, reverse engineering, stack-up analysis, and VAVE (Value Analysis/Value Engineering)
