About the role

Responsibilities
- Perform cremation services with the highest standards of care, accuracy, and respect
- Transfer decedents with professionalism and integrity
- Maintain detailed and accurate records for each cremation, ensuring full compliance with all state and local regulations
- Operate and perform routine maintenance on cremation equipment
- Prepare cremated remains for return to families in a timely and respectful manner
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment
- Collaborate with funeral directors and staff to ensure seamless care from transfer through final disposition
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- An active crematory operator license in Minnesota, or a willingness to obtain one with company support
- A respectful, professional demeanor and a genuine commitment to dignified care
- Ability to lift over 50 pounds and roll/move 200 pounds
- Availability to work varying hours, including nights, weekends, and on-call as needed
- Basic computer skills
- Prior experience in a funeral home, crematory, or related setting is a plus, but not required

$17 - $20 an hour
