Position Overview
The Creel Operator position is a non-exempt, hourly position responsible for starting, stopping, cleaning and maintaining a Coating Machine while ensuring that good quality coated yarn is made. Hours of work - This is a Day Shift position requiring 12-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with rotating days and weekends.
Who you are
- Ability to lift, carry and/or move up to 30 pounds.
- Ability to push/pull up to 1,000 lbs. on pallet jack.
- Ability to work with minimal supervisory direction.
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in English.
- Ability to work in an environment where temperature varies in range.
- Ability to tolerate moderate to loud plant noise levels.
- Skill in establishing and maintaining effective work relationships.
- Ability to work in a team environment and solicit the assistance of co-workers.
- Ability to work and keep pace in fast paced environment.
- Ability to work with limited supervision.
