About the Role

This position provides direct support to Tire Centers and customers, assisting with accounts receivable (AR) account maintenance, procedures, and customer service for AR account management and credit reporting issues. You will assist customers and stores with online and telephone payments.

Responsibilities

  • Support tire centers with account setup and maintenance questions (40% of work time).
  • Review and approve store requests for posting credits to ensure compliance with credit policy guidelines.
  • Assist stores with account transfers and proper invoice coding.
  • Provide commercial credit reports to tire centers and occasionally retail credit reports.
  • Assist Les Schwab credit customers with online and telephone bill pay, including posting payments through the online payment solution (50% of work time).
  • Provide technical support to customers needing assistance with the online payment solution.
  • Review and respond to customer credit reporting disputes (10% of work time).

Requirements

  • A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent; some college preferred.
  • Advanced PC skills, including proficiency in Excel and Google Suite.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills to work effectively under pressure.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Proven ability to manage diverse work assignments, collect data, analyze information, and develop conclusions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally to broad audiences.
  • Ability to draft, proofread, and send written communications effectively.
  • Strong listening skills, including asking appropriate questions and avoiding interruptions.
  • Commitment to service excellence by anticipating stakeholders' needs, identifying solutions, and delivering on expectations.

Physical Requirements

  • Primarily a desk position, requiring frequent sitting and occasional standing or walking.
  • Frequent and repetitive use of hands and fingers to operate computers, keyboards, mice, and office equipment.
  • Ability to reach with hands and arms and lift up to 20 pounds.
  • Close visual acuity and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and exchange information over the phone and in person.

Work Environment

Office-based, non-manual work. The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
