Credit Senior Manager (Structured Credit )
About the role
The ideal candidate will serve as the primary contact for credit fund client relationship(s), overseeing engagements from proposal through implementation and ongoing administration. They will ensure client engagements are properly staffed and that team members receive the necessary training to meet both internal and external deliverables. The role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining processes and procedures to ensure client satisfaction and adherence to deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for credit fund client relationship(s), overseeing engagements from proposal through implementation and ongoing administration.
- Ensure that client engagements are properly staffed and that team members receive the necessary training to meet both internal and external deliverables.
- Develop, implement, and maintain processes and procedures to ensure client satisfaction and adherence to deadlines.
- Review and implement partnership allocation models in line with partnership agreements for a diverse client base.
- Gain proficiency in key systems through training with the accounting team, focusing on Investran Live (accounting system), Salesforce CRM, and Intralinks.
- Cook up and review investor communications, including capital call and distribution notices, as well as capital balance statements.
- Cook up and review investment transactions within the Investran Live general ledger system.
- Coordinate and review investor communications, including capital call and distribution notices, as well as capital balance statements.
- Oversee and review investment transactions within the Investran Live general ledger system.
- Oversee the daily and monthly cash reconciliation processes for various credit partnerships and associated portfolio companies.
- Review fund financial statements and other management reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with the Director to provide strategic direction on various projects, including reviewing materials prepared by staff, such as general ledger entries, quarterly work papers, audit confirmations, limited partner requests, and other ad hoc documents.
- Review and/or calculate credit fund performance metrics, including gross/net MOIC, IRR, TVPI, RVPI, and DPI.
- Lead the preparation and review of materials for interim and annual audits of the credit fund partnerships, establishing and maintaining productive relationships with auditors.
Requirements
The ideal candidate brings deep private credit fund accounting expertise, strong technical accounting knowledge, and experience supporting portfolios comprised of asset-backed and structured credit investments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in private credit fund accounting, financial reporting, and operational activities.
- Experience working with asset-based financing and structured credit investment vehicles.
- Strong understanding of private credit fund accounting standards and regulations.
- Proficiency in key systems, including Investran Live (accounting system), Salesforce CRM, and Intralinks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously, with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $122,000 - $183,000 per year. This range represents the base salary only. Actual pay will depend on factors such as qualifications, experience, and skills.
