Credit Risk Senior Analyst

This role will provide business-aligned guidance focused on governance, compliance, and operational risk management. You will partner with leaders, compliance stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to translate complex issues into practical recommendations. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and enhance credit policies and models for consumer and SMB credit cards
• Develop data-driven strategies for managing credit card portfolios effectively
• Conduct empirical analyses for risk segmentation, behavioral forecasting, and line management
• Create and present performance dashboards on KPIs and KRIs to senior management
• Stay current on regulations and compliance issues influencing credit card products

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or Finance
• Minimum 3 years of experience focusing on credit risk analysis in a financial institution
• Advanced SQL skills and experience with statistical modeling and machine learning techniques
• Proven ability to devise innovative solutions in ambiguous situations
• High attention to detail with independent project work capabilities
• Strong presentation and communication skills for conveying complex data to executives
• Curiosity-driven problem-solving approach requiring minimal direction

Pay

$99,000 – $123,800 annually
