Credit Risk Officer - Hedge Funds

About the role

The Credit Risk Officer will be responsible for assessing and managing credit risk across various hedge fund portfolios. This role involves analyzing financial statements, market trends, and economic indicators to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial data to assess credit risk and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Develop and maintain models to predict credit risk and evaluate portfolio performance.
• Conduct regular reviews of portfolio exposures and make recommendations for adjustments to mitigate risk.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
• Stay updated on industry developments and regulatory changes impacting credit risk management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in credit risk analysis or a similar role.
• Proven ability to analyze complex financial data and interpret results.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with credit risk models and tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
