About the role
- Prepare accountability reports, supported by the Account Management Function and FLUs Account Officer.
- Act as secretariat of LWC (facilitate meetings and prepare meeting minutes).
- Communicate with Head Office and provide responses to Head Office requests.
- Ensure the Account Management Team maintains appropriate documentation and files in Laserfiche.
- Provide responses to internal/external audits, loan reviews, regulatory exams, and document requests.
- Prepare or review all types of Head Office reports, assisted by the Account Management Team and FLUs Account Officer.
- Prepare booking-related instructions to OSD.
- Review and reconcile resolution-related requirements from Head Office (including Performance Evaluation and Head Office reporting).
Responsibilities
Credit Risk Review
- Evaluate and analyze financial trends on assigned risk ratings of each borrower with in-depth analysis.
- Analyze all aspects related to credit report requests, including restructured strategy or other exit strategies, historical and projected financial performance, management, industry, market conditions, and third-party reports in a timely fashion.
- Provide challenges where appropriate.
- Establish the credit risk view regarding the strategy’s execution soundness, creditworthiness, and conformity to Bank policies and procedures.
Portfolio Management
- Conduct annual and/or quarterly reviews and periodic NPL loan reporting as required by the Bank’s Policy.
- Monitor market and industry trends and assess the impact of industry and/or client-specific negative news.
- Conduct report and committee pipeline management.
- Provide and guide booking instructions from acceptable financial and regulatory standards.
Knowledge and Learning
- Develop and apply relevant credit/accounting and legal documentation and industry knowledge.
- Understand banking products and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrate initiative to acquire necessary knowledge (industry, products, market conditions, policies, and procedures) to perform job functions.
- Demonstrate progression in learning and application of concepts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics required; Master’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, or MBA preferred.
- Minimum 4-5 years of Problem Loan Restructuring/Administration work experience.
- CFA/FRM certifications preferred.
- Solid experience in credit risk management/due diligence with written credit risk synopsis or loan portfolio reporting.
- Knowledge of credit risk management/due diligence within financial sectors.
- Bilingual ability in English and Chinese required.
Pay
USD $65,000.00 – USD $150,000.00 per year. Actual salary is commensurate with candidate’s relevant years of experience, skillset, education, and other qualifications.
