Credit Representative

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve maximum credit release while vetting orders to ensure they meet the standards set.
• Research and compile credit information on customers to facilitate order release.
• Perform credit application and trade reference research to obtain credit evidence from financial institutions and customer vendors.
• Carry out thorough credit checks to enable the initiation of sound credit decisions.
• Inform internal business partners of progress of credit investigation.
• Communicate with customers when other special credit requirements or advance deposits are deemed necessary.

Competencies And Skills

• Previous experience in customer interaction.
• Alpha and numeric data entry experience.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Solid analytical proficiencies.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, work in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail, handle multiple tasks and work under time constraints is required.
• Must have previous A/R background.
