About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manages credit applications process; enters new customers and tracks for renewal.
  • Verifies that all customer credit files are complete, accessible, and secure.
  • Ensures customer statements are updated timely and are accurate.
  • Responds to inquiries made to the Credit Department in a timely manner.
  • Works and communicates with Credit Department teammates to ensure goals and KPIs are met.
  • PARTNERS WITH ACCOUNTING TO ENSURE ACCURATE BANK AND LEDGER RECONCILIATIONS ARE MAINTAINED.
  • Reviews and reports on collection efforts for past due accounts and assists sales team in collection efforts.
  • RECOMMENDS CREDIT TERMS AND LIMITS BASED ON CUSTOMER PROFILE.
  • WORKS WITH SALES AND ACCOUNTING TEAMS TO OBTAIN AND MAINTAIN SALES TAX CERTIFICATES.
  • ISSUES, COMMUNICATES, AND DOCUMENTS CRITICS AND ADJUSTMENTS AS NEEDED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ESTABLISHED PROCESSES.
  • Processes customer payments and maintains security of customer information.
  • GENERATES ACCURATE AND TIMELY DEPARTMENT REPORTS AS NEEDED.
