Credit Reporting Customer Advocate
Description Summary/Objective
As a Credit Reporting Identify Theft associate, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing work volume. This will include the handling of accounts where the ownership of said accounts is being disputed.
Essential Functions
- Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- May respond to disputes from customers and/or credit reporting agencies via written communication or a third party application.
- May work directly with other lines of business within ACAMay escalate certain issues/accounts to management.
- May send/file appropriate documents and forms via email and traditional methods
- May update our database with actions taken on each account
- Uploading of certain documents
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED; and at least 6 months or greater years of customer service experience
- Familiar with navigating various computer applications
- Proven ability to multi-task
- Strong attention to detail
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work alone or partner with others.
- Basic knowledge of company products, services, policies, procedures, computer applications, and how to apply this knowledge
Work Environment and Physical Demands
- This job operates in a professional office environment.
- This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
- This is a full-time position with a work schedule that will vary as needed.
Travel
- This position requires no travel.
