About the role
The Global Infrastructure Credit team is embedded across the bank’s eight lines of business, supporting the continued growth in sustainable, renewable, and green finance. The team delivers on the bank’s commitment to help society transition to a low-carbon economy and plays an active role in the Digital Infrastructure market. The team covers transactions for Corporate Lending, Tax Equity, and Project Finance through origination and underwriting.
Responsibilities
- Perform financial, business, industry, and transaction analyses; conduct research; and prepare supporting documentation for transaction credit approval.
- Perform intensive qualitative and quantitative due diligence on transaction structures, stress scenarios, financial models, engineer reports, and terms and conditions.
- Participate in the underwriting and documentation of project finance and other credit facilities designed to meet client and investor needs while balancing the bank’s internal risk/return requirements.
- Provide input into key projects and initiatives across the bank.
- Review the credit profile of key transaction counterparties (e.g., borrowers, servicers, sponsors, and off-takers).
- Engage with various partners including GCIB Enterprise Credit Officers for recourse obligors, Enterprise Credit Risk, and Global Markets Risk.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a corporate or commercial credit role.
Qualifications
- Experience in project finance, tax equity, or structured credit with a focus on energy, power, or infrastructure.
- Strong technical skills including quantitative financial modeling.
- Formal credit training program at a financial institution.
- BA Degree.
- MBA (desired).
