Credit Manager

About the role

SANY Capital USA is seeking a Credit Manager with 3-5 years of experience in dealer floorplan/construction equipment financing, preferably with experience using nCino.

Responsibilities

• Perform full underwriting of entities and guarantors, analyze credit data, and determine risk to SANY Capital USA or other institutions.
• Complete detailed credit memos and approvals.
• Own the credit management system and manage overall risk within the department.
• Underwrite new prospective dealers, determine credit risk, and structure approvals.
• Manage commercial loan portfolio, including renewing loans and updating risk ratings.
• Review and approve credit limit modifications and credit holds.
• Negotiate quarterly programs and rates with retail finance partners.
• Track covenants and collect valid insurance policies.
• Analyze and communicate financial conditions and performance of customers.
• Evaluate trends in customer data and identify potential problems.
• Communicate with dealers on financial data, loan modifications, and problem loans.
• Maintain and update the credit system (nCino).
• Create and maintain reports and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of commercial underwriting experience in banking, commercial finance, or captive finance.
• Understanding of equipment manufacturer dealer floor plan financing is a plus.
• Knowledge of complex corporate structures and ability to construct credit approvals creatively.
• Strong credit underwriting experience, including reviewing, spreading, and analyzing financial data.
• Effective communication skills, including the ability to write reports and letters.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, graphs, spreadsheets, pivot tables, and V-lookups.
• Experience with nCino and/or Salesforce is preferred.
• Time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Self-starter with a high energy level and resilience.
