Responsibilities
- Manage the commercial credit risk for an assigned portfolio of accounts (40-60 accounts).
- Complete credit reviews and assigned tasks on a timely basis.
- Use credit risk analysis skills along with available risk assessment tools and third-party data to analyze and recommend limits for existing and new account requests.
- Build strong relationships with:
- Customers for periodic financial updates;
- Sales for forecasts and business needs;
- Legal to ensure proper documents are in place;
- Collections to ensure payments are made promptly;
- Tax, Accounting, Order Management, and Supply Chain teams.
- Contribute to workflow improvements within the Credit Risk team.
- Assist in producing and maintaining recurring credit risk reports, including:
- End of Month
- Watch List
- AR Forecast
- Quarterly Report
- Aged Trial Balance
- Coface Rating
- UCC Quarterly
- Inventory Finance rates
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Economics.
- Minimum 4-6 years in a similar field or related work experience.
- Strong financial statement analysis, liquidity analysis, and risk assessment skills.
- Knowledge of hedging options such as AR trade insurance, inventory finance, UCC liens, Letter of Credit, and cash collateral. Experience with D&B reports and other trade data is a plus.
- Knowledge of bank facility structure, covenants, ABL, interest rates, and bank trade references.
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP system preferred.
