Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial credit risk for an assigned portfolio of accounts (40-60 accounts).
• Complete credit reviews and assigned tasks on a timely basis.
• Use credit risk analysis skills along with available risk assessment tools and third-party data to analyze and recommend limits for existing and new account requests.
• Build strong relationships with:
  • Customers for periodic financial updates;
  • Sales for forecasts and business needs;
  • Legal to ensure proper documents are in place;
  • Collections to ensure payments are made promptly;
  • Tax, Accounting, Order Management, and Supply Chain teams.
• Contribute to workflow improvements within the Credit Risk team.
• Assist in producing and maintaining recurring credit risk reports, including:
  • End of Month
  • Watch List
  • AR Forecast
  • Quarterly Report
  • Aged Trial Balance
  • Coface Rating
  • UCC Quarterly
  • Inventory Finance rates

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Economics.
• Minimum 4-6 years in a similar field or related work experience.
• Strong financial statement analysis, liquidity analysis, and risk assessment skills.
• Knowledge of hedging options such as AR trade insurance, inventory finance, UCC liens, Letter of Credit, and cash collateral. Experience with D&B reports and other trade data is a plus.
• Knowledge of bank facility structure, covenants, ABL, interest rates, and bank trade references.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP system preferred.
