Duties And Responsibilities
- Produces various Board and loan portfolio reports and ad hoc reports as requested.
- Maintains and updates loan and collateral codes as directed by management.
- Assists in administration of the commercial construction draw process.
- Reviews Construction Loan Packages to ensure the Bank’s position is in compliance with original loan approvals.
- Maintains and updates residential construction monitoring via BankLabs.
- Tracks and works on various projects related to Construction and Commercial Real Estate.
- Collects and analyzes data for CRE lending risk.
- Orders REIS reports as requested.
- Conducts collateral and other code reviews and maintenance as directed by management.
- Generates/compiles various monthly and ad hoc reports as requested.
- Images and files documents, and researches document requests as needed.
- Provides documentation as needed for loan reviews and audits.
- Aids in preparing and distributing Construction Management user guides and supporting other ServisFirst personnel.
- Organizes paper and electronic files in the Credit Administration area.
- Ensures compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience in financial analysis, banking or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a focus on manipulating large data sets in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in a position requiring attention to detail and data analysis.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision.
- Working knowledge of collateral instruments (i.e., letter of credit, UCC filings, and personal/corporate guarantees).
- Preferred background in commercial construction lending or underwriting.
Physical Requirements And Environmental Conditions
- Sustained standing and sitting.
- Frequent use of PC, including typing or sustained attention to monitor.
- Occasional lifting of basic office files or equipment up to 20 lbs.
- Normal office environment with comfortable internal temperatures and low level noise.
