Responsibilities
- Analyse key quantitative and qualitative factors influencing the credit quality of Non-Bank Financial Institutions
- Develop and maintain financial spreads and tools
- Present analysis of companies to Fitch's internal credit rating committee
- Conduct onsite meetings with company management
- Communicate rating rationale to external audiences (institutions, investors, analysts, and media) in meetings, conference calls, press releases, and written research reports
- Participate in the evaluation of other credits within Financial Institutions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree at minimum
- 5-7 years of analytical experience
- Expertise in Excel and Word
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills
- Ability to shift fluidly between multiple projects as priorities change
- Ability to excel in a team-oriented environment
Qualifications
- MBA and/or CFA, or progress toward these designations, a plus
- Coverage or knowledge of bank or non-bank sectors a plus
- Capital markets and/or credit analysis experience a plus
Skills
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of financial institutions and credit analysis

Pay
Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $105,000 and $135,000 per year. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors.
Schedule
2 to 3 days a week in office required based on your line of business and location.
