Credit Administration / Senior Credit Officer

About the role

The successful candidate will lead a team of three credit analysts and one trainee, overseeing portfolio management, credit underwriting, and credit analysis. They will support both agricultural and commercial lending relationships.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of three credit analysts and one trainee
• Support both agricultural and commercial lending relationships
• Lead credit underwriting and credit analysis processes
• Manage risk and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance loan performance

Requirements

• 7+ years of combined experience in portfolio management, credit underwriting, and credit analysis
• At least two years of supervisory experience
• Strong knowledge of banking regulations and compliance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field
• Professional certifications such as CMA, CLU, or CHFC preferred

Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with credit risk management software
