About the role
The Medical office seeks an experienced Credentialing Specialist to assist with the credentialing and re-credentialing of medical providers and organizations.
Responsibilities
- Familiarity with credentialing system (CAQH)
- Communicate with insurance companies to ensure provider credentialing and re-credentialing is completed correctly and efficiently
- Complete and submit credentialing applications
- Maintain and update credentialing spreadsheets
- Respond to credentialing inquiries from clients or management regarding credentialing status
- Able to adapt to constant change and meet deadlines
- High level of professionalism and strict confidentiality maintained
Requirements
- Experience in credentialing and re-credentialing of medical providers and organizations
- Familiarity with CAQH credentialing system
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
