Credentialing Specialist

Job Overview

Pelvic Rehabilitation Medicine is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized individual to join their team as a Credentialing Specialist. This is a remote opportunity located in the US. The salary range is $55-60K annually and benefits include health, vision and dental insurance, paid holidays and vacation, flexible spending account, and high income potential.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and processes applications for provider privileges
• Focuses on follow-up, follow-through, and achievement of stringent deadlines
• Reviews and analyzes provider credentialing files for completeness, accuracy, issues, and changes
• Responds to provider inquiries via letter, phone, or internal departments
• Administers re-credentialing of Physicians and CRNAs
• Complies with HIPAA regulations
• Affords assistance with other special projects and process redesign initiatives as requested

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in provider credentialing
• Previous experience with provider credentialing/enrollment software
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
• Highly effective communicator with the ability to engage multiple stakeholders in various organizations
• Must be able to work well under pressure in a very fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Possess strong problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
