Credentialing Associate
Hybrid: This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office. The Credentialing Associate processes credentialing and re-credentialing files in accordance with Company and departmental policies and procedures and in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations and accrediting organization standards.
Responsibilities
- Assures the confidentiality and integrity of all aspects of the credentialing program and process including communication of information regarding participating providers to Medical Directors, Credentials Committee and other internal departments, as well as database management, provider relations and contracting.
- May be utilized within the Credentialing Database Operations unit or the Credentialing Policy Committee unit to support the company's entire credentialing process.
Requirements
- Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and one year of office experience in a health care environment; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
- Strong attention to detail capabilities preferred.
Pay
For candidates working in person or virtually in Massachusetts or New York, the salary range for this specific position is $19.63 - $32.12. The salary offered is based on a number of legitimate, non-discriminatory factors set by the Company, including geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level.
