Credentialing Analyst *Remote* - Providence Anchorage
About the role
This Credentialing Analyst position is a fully Remote opportunity! Schedule is full time, 1.0 FTE, Day shift, Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm in Alaska time zone, with some flexibility and advance notice to provide support outside these hours; 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Comprehensive coordination, analysis, and execution of practitioner credentialing and privileging activities for the Alaska Region Medical Staff.
- Apply critical thinking and regulatory expertise to ensure accurate primary source verification and compliance with medical staff bylaws, organizational policies, and accreditation standards.
- Evaluate practitioner data to ensure all governance thresholds and eligibility criteria are met prior to committee review, identify discrepancies, and prepare detailed credentialing files and action summaries to support informed decision-making.
- Maintain data integrity within credentialing systems, monitor timelines and reporting requirements, and serve as a subject matter resource to medical staff leadership to ensure consistent, compliant credentialing operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree Or 3 years of medical staff credentialing experience, including complex privilege review will be considered.
- Within 2 years of hire: Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) Or Within 2 years of hire: Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM)
- 2 years of Medical Staff credentialing experience.
- 2 years of experience with primary source verification, privileging review, and committee file preparation.
Qualifications
- MD staff experience preferred.

Pay
The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
