Credentialed Veterinary Technician - Boston - Multiple Locations

About the role

Bond Vet is on a mission to strengthen the human‑animal bond through better pet care, offering primary and urgent care in clinics designed for pets and people. In July 2026 Bond Vet merged with Small Door Veterinary to create a combined organization spanning more than 55 clinics across the Northeast, Mid‑Atlantic and Midwest, serving over half a million pets. This role will help shape the next chapter of that organization and advance the shared mission to transform veterinary care. The position is based in the Greater Boston area, with consideration for multiple hospitals throughout the region.

Responsibilities

• Patient handling and husbandry
• Client education and partnership
• Surgical and dental nursing, including anesthesia management
• Diagnostic management and medication administration
• Emergency triage and response
• Detailed medical record keeping
• Run appointments alongside assistants
• Collaborate with veterinarians and nurses across the region, participate in monthly educational events, and use innovative technology — including AI‑assisted tools and the Apple Vision Pro — that reduce administrative burden and enhance patient care.

Requirements

• 1+ year experience as a veterinary technician
• Newly licensed technicians encouraged to apply
• Must have independent unrestricted valid authorization to work in the U.S. for any employer and accept new employment for this position (no visa sponsorship)

Qualifications

• Credentialed Veterinary Technician (LVT/CVT/RVT or LVMT preferred)
