Responsibilities
- Manage the care of students with chronic health conditions (e.g., asthma, diabetes) by coordinating with healthcare providers, teachers, and parents
- Maintain accurate and confidential health records
- Communicate with parents regarding their child's health status, concerns, and recommended follow-up care
- Develop and implement emergency response plans and drills
- Train staff members and paraprofessionals to effectively support and care for students with chronic health conditions
Qualifications
- CA RN license
- Valid School Nurse Credential
- School nurse experience required
- CPR/BLS certification
- Current negative TB result
